In via del Porto in Bologna, immersed in the Parco del Cavaticcio and a stone's throw from the Museum of Modern Art of Bologna, a former garage / garage is redesigned in a studio / residential key. A single parallelepiped volume with golden proportions and an anthracite gray color stands out, like a stele at the center of the large hall, defining the spaces of the open space, containing the necessary services. The industrial cement floor and the pipes of the exposed systems underline its identity and the garage / underground matrix. The large glass walls show a green band positioned singularly inside the house in an attempt to dematerialize the boundaries between inside and outside. The loft also has a wonderful garden overlooking the public park with 40 square meters of gazebo, spiral seating and a bar / outdoor kitchen.
