The ECOS Gallery is located in Via Giulia, the first "shop" of the street, in an elegant 1600 building owned by the Collegio Bandinelli. Composed of two asymmetrical and equivalent rooms (for a total area of 50 square meters) it is characterized by an objective and permanent luminosity. The first room overlooks Via Giulia and receives light from a glass entrance door on the street, as well as from a large rectangular window. The second room is instead enriched by a huge window (2mx3m) which insists on Largo dei Fiorentini. Two elegant pairs of flower boxes frame the glass door of Via Giulia and the window of Largo dei Fiorentini. The interior lighting is guaranteed, from above, by 30 spotlights of 50 watts each and adjustable. A further enrichment is finally given by sober candlesticks placed in the two rooms. Located behind the well-known Jazz Music Inn Restaurant (with which it is linked also from a business point of view) the Ecos Gallery is able to offer a vast and articulated catering space: both inside the gallery and inside the Music Inn Restaurant (same block with another entrance). In addition to presenting itself as a canonical gallery, the ECOS engages in an exhibition side: the desire to integrate the pictorial, iconic and sculptural language with products, artefacts, objects also of an advertising or "temporary store" type. A contamination that makes our offer even more diversified and composite; an enhancement of other and serial materials in a context with a strong artistic and cultural dimension.
