The villa began as a hunting lodge of the Sforza - Visconti family at the end of the 16th century and in the 17th century it became the residence of the Ronchelli family: Giovan Battista Ronchelli (1715 - 1788) was a renowned painter of the time. Entering the courtyard you can admire a wisteria whose trunk exceeds one and a half meters and its branches for over two hundred years follow the arcades of the arcade and twist on the columns of the loggia on the first floor. Inside the villa you can admire typical Lombard mosaic and terracotta floors, vaults painted with fake bas-relief decorative elements, large marble fireplaces enriched with stuccos that represent cherubs and eagles, the particular ceiling of the hall with wooden lacunars dark red full of rosettes and coats of arms of the owners of the house. Everyone will be able to get carried away in a corner of the past, experiencing the fascinating atmosphere and the excitement of a day that should not be forgotten. www.palazzoronchelli.it Simona Beretta 339/1523797
